I’ve hosted an open mic in Greensboro, NC for 15 years. I’ve seen a lot of talent, a lot of groups form, and learned how to deal with folks from all walks of life. The secret is kindness, respect, and compassion.

I play with my band, and I play with my friend Emily Stewart in our indie folk duo, Magpie Thief. Then I play drums with my friend’s band Laila Nur and the Love Riot.
